History
History is the branch of study dealing with past events. People specializing in the branch of study are known as Historians. Like many other branches, history also have some specializations, which provide more job opportunities in various fields. Now the conventional attitudes or trends of this subject have changed. History is a very popular choice for the Civil Services Examinations. B.A (History) degree course is easily available in Kerala and other universities. P.G Course (MA-History) is also available in almost all universities.

M.A Archaeology course is available only in Kerala University College (10 seats only) – based on entrance examination + merit. Eligibility: B.A with 50% marks or B.Sc with 55% marks.
