The graduate wing of Armed Forces Medical College was established with the aim to increase the intake of medical graduates into the Armed Force. The graduate wing of is affiliated to the University of Pune and is rcognized by the Medical Council of India for conducting 4 years and 6 months teaching program leading to M.B.B.S Degree.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 60% in aggregate with 50% in English and 50% in Science is necessary or any other equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each.
Age Limit
Unmarried Indian National or subject of Nepal or Bhutan or Migrant India settled in India of age 17-22 yrs. Can apply.
Scheme of Exam
Admission to MBBS course are on the basis of an objective type examination conducted in 28 centers across India. This is followed by an interview. The list will cover Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Intelligence/logic reasoning, English language and comprehension. The General standard is of 10+2 level./ Usually notification is on January and exam will be held during the month of May or June.
